NPAT is a self-assessment test. Therefore you do not have to go to a test center. It is an online test that you can take from any computer which has an internet connection.
The test problems will show on the NPAT site under the heading NPAT 2017 at exactly 3pm on Sunday. NPAT is a coding test and some questions might ask you to only code a small function or value instead of an entire program. Weightage of each question in NPAT will be declared when the test problems are released.
You will get a certificate for taking NPAT. We will email you a few days after NPAT to tell you how to access your certificate. You can show this certificate for job applications and it will be verifiable online on the NPAT website. We will show your performance as well as your percentile against the number of students who attempted each test problem.
Please remember to try the practice problems to understand how the online testing system works.
